Glass & Things

St. Pancras Station

In August 2005, at a B.N.I meeting, Glass and Things was approached by Howard Brothers to quote for a job called Building Project 501.

After arranging a meeting and arriving at London Victoria, Glass and Things was met by the Site Agent and was taken to St. Pancras Train Station. Which at that time was under construction, after being asked to quote for 36 randalls, the contract was made. The randalls (which are circles) had to be specially covered with a bomb proof film.

Four months of work then commenced, during which time we were offered more and more work, resulting in 22 thousand square feet of 6.4 laminated glass specially cut, i.e. into different shapes, being fitted to both sides of the platform and to the hotel entrance and lobby.

Glass and Things completed on time and in budget on July 2007.
